How-To Correctly Scan A Menu with Your iPhone

Using the built-in Notes app:

Open the Notes app: Launch the Notes app on your iPhone.

Create a new Note: Tap the "+" button to create a new note.   

Activate scan mode: Tap the camera icon at the bottom of the note, then select "Scan Documents."   

Position the document: Hold your iPhone steady above the document. The app will automatically detect the edges.

Capture the scan: The document will be scanned automatically. To manually capture, tap the shutter button or press a volume button.   

Adjust the scan: You can crop, rotate, or adjust the perspective of the scan.

Save the scan: Tap "Keep Scan" to save the scan to your note.   

Additional tips:

• For best results, use good lighting.
• Ensure the document is flat and free of wrinkles.   
• Experiment with different angles to find the optimal position for scanning.
